The Farm Foundation is sponsoring 3 events this year, one in the Spring, one in the Summer, and one in the Fall. The Spring event features horse plowing in the fields; a common sight in years gone by but seldom seen today. The Summer event features haying, with older children helping to build the haystack. Our Fall event features the Stories of the Quilt sponsored by the Arts Council.
Our Heritage Garden, designed and maintained by Master Gardeners of the Blue Ridge, is open for your pleasure at all events. Only non-hybrid plants that were grown circa 1900 are displayed in this garden.
Our new 150 year old log cabin is dedicated to the fiber arts. Come see the cabin and the other surprises that await you!
